Nice .
I hope you like them after a few weeks.... I thought they sounded great at Eggfest , but hope you don't get a feeling like I had with Len's Koetsu cartridge , that after a few days, it sounded sort of 'the same' on everything .
Fingers crossed ..

Mark

Rest easy. The FE108ESigma is one of the very best FR drivers available at any price. Mids and highs are to die for, not much LF as you'd expect given the size, but impressive for a little cone. They're pretty faithful to the recording. Best in a horn or some form of QW loading, but they also do well on an open baffle, with LF support.

They went too high, can get them cheaper in UK brand new taking delivery and customs into account.

Yes James is designing a bass helper.

But they need a lot of hours on them to sound their best so they are worth more secondhand

Well after I had bid what would make them cost £92 delivered if I don't get customs charge, and sudenly remembered Wilmslow audio price is only £62 each I rationalised it with that fact. OTOH I realised that my real mistake was that they could take 6 to 8 weeks from past experience by surface mail, so was very pleased to have been outbid by a complete looney who has paid more than the new price....

No I need a pair a bit sooner than that.
