Hi John
I've just finished a 45 SE using them,

very nice finish and look well built, so far they sound really good,
very useful investment having the choice of various primaries,

they are cheaper from Sandy in Taiwan, pre 65 has just bought some, perhaps he could give the details of how to contact him

ps just found his email, sandy85272002@yahoo.com.tw

Thanks for the alternative supplier David.

I was thinking about some James for my own 45 amp, but when I looked at the Euphonia website earlier today it said they had stopped taking orders on line until further notice as they are "not happy with the level of service Euphonia Audio is providing to its customers". Guess they must be experiencing some quite severe problems to do this?

Simon.

Hi-i got home tonight and it looks like they tried to deliver my James transformers AND my stepped attenuator,so looks like i now have a 50 mile journey to collect them.

Andrew I put me onto Sandy and he was cheaper than Euphonia, and has good communications and takes Paypal.

ps.his name is Michael.

Hi-Sandy (Michael) charged $230 inc airfreight for a pair of 6123-HS and being multi primary impedence makes them more versatile.

If anyone wants to see them in their hand i could bring mine to eggfest.

David,

I was going to start with the Bugle, but with 5751s instead of 6072As as that is what I have. I've been encouraged by yours and Andrew's experiences. But I need a pair of 5k opts (and two big Cerafines which seem to be like hens teeth these days, and I'm not sure I can run to WKZs). I'm considering some more AE c cores as the ones I have are very nice, but they took 5 months to be wound and I'm not sure I can wait that long - I'm far too impatient. Other options seem to get rather expensive? Decisions, decisions.

Simon.
