Nelson Pass F3
Hi all.
I built a Nelson Pass F3 clone last week, initial listening tests are quite promising. Its built from thecheapest parts I could find and is also running rather hot,but I think it is one of the least annoying transistor amps I have heard,in fact its so good I have sent off for a proper enclosure with large heatsinks.Has anyone else any experience of these amps? Regards Dave. |

Re: Nelson Pass F3
You need heat sinks!! good luck though, they are rather good - so much better than your off the shelf SS jobbies.
If you worked your way through F1 to F5 it would be fascinating. I've only dipped in here and there and if I didn't have all these valves I'd be a happy chap with Nelson Pass. |
