WAD KiT6550 fascia panel finish from WD

I noticed that WD are selling fascia panels for the WAD KiT6550 and I was wondering if any might have any knowledge of the finish of these and noticed, as I have, that the finish of these panels appears to have changed?The brushed aluminium fascia panel of my older Newport Pagnell vintage KiT6550 being a coarser finish compared to my later Chelmsford vintage PSU II and Phono II.

Cosmetic I know and some might think trivial (colour of LEDs springs to mind) but when sitting side by side it would be good to have the same finish....

We have checked and, unfortunately, the 6550 fronts we have are slightly coarser in grain than the PreII fronts. Can't help you in this case. Sorry.
