DC into a WAD Pre II - any issues?
Bit of a strange one this, but a fellow tweaker in another place wants to connect his modified Behrringer processor to a pre amp in order to demonstrate the benefit of bypassing some of the internal circuits. I don't have details of the mods but I do know that the processor has 2.5v DC on it's output as a result. Does the capacitor coupling on the Pre II mean that the DC will effectively be blocked?
My instincts tell me that things should work but I'd value some opinions. Rob. |

Rob
PreII doesn't have cap coupling on its input as standard AFAIK so it wouldn't like DC. Rich |

Build a special interconnect with a coupling cap in the centre conductor. Just a 50v cap 2uF.
Or use a line level transformer.
