Default DC into a WAD Pre II - any issues?

Bit of a strange one this, but a fellow tweaker in another place wants to connect his modified Behrringer processor to a pre amp in order to demonstrate the benefit of bypassing some of the internal circuits. I don't have details of the mods but I do know that the processor has 2.5v DC on it's output as a result. Does the capacitor coupling on the Pre II mean that the DC will effectively be blocked?
My instincts tell me that things should work but I'd value some opinions.

Rob.

PreII doesn't have cap coupling on its input as standard AFAIK so it wouldn't like DC.

Build a special interconnect with a coupling cap in the centre conductor. Just a 50v cap 2uF.

Or use a line level transformer.
