Fascinating journey in hi-fi
Have a look at this blog about a fascinating journey into hi-fi through the '70s and beyond.
http://www.saturn-sound.com/history/...%20section.htm note the mods to the GL75 and home made unipivot - all 1970! Pre-Echoing what we are doing on this forum today. Also found in the Sonex '71 list of manufacturers - the first appearance of AMSTRAD (ANSTRAD LTD!!). The main site is devoted to Studio valve microphone servicing if you are interested.

Hi-how absolutely fascinating to read this persons journey.
i really liked the way the GL75 was presented.i had thought of making a heavier chassis for mine but his looked stunning. just shows that the knowledge was around in those days and we are still using the DL103 ! Philip
