DC supply for DHT ( PT15 amp )
Hi all,
I'm very nearly finished building the PT15 breadboard.... I'm using 2 TXs to supply the heaters circuits - 1 for the PT15s which is a 5A 6.3v winding into 25A bridge rectifier into 10,000uF cap with 7W 0.22R dropping resistor to feed the DHT. 2nd TX is 6.3v CT'd to feed the C3g heaters. Question is - if I only have 1 DC heater supply feeding both Left and Right DHT circuits will I have issues with signal cross talk through the DHT supply ? Or any other problems between channels ? I know it would be better to have 2 distinct supplies in the finished amp but will I have a problem on the breadboard with only 1x 6V DHT supply for supplying both channels ? cheers Pete |

Re: DC supply for DHT ( PT15 amp )
Hi,
I know mine doesn't like sharing filament supply, significantly more noise. Walt |
