A Linear Newest First Mode problem
Hi,
For several days I have been having problems with seeing some the previous posts when reading the newest one. I only see the latest. The best (worst) example is [Kel84 opinions] thread/ Before, I could see and browse all the others on the screen. Now I sometimes can't. What can I do? Cheers

Re: A Linear Newest First Mode problem
I know now what the problem is.
I can't succesfully Edit Options in the Thread Display Option here, and the Forum Defaults have been working. Moreover, the time displayed at the bottom of the page over there has stopped and has been showing 01.48 GMT all the time, even now. Has anyone else come up against a similar problem? How can it be solved? Cheers

Re: A Linear Newest First Mode problem
Time is showing 12:39 PM on mine at the moment, actual time 08:02 PM.

Re: A Linear Newest First Mode problem
Hi,
The problem is with my Opera 9.2 browser. I should not have updated it a few days ago. When using Opera 8.54 (or even Internet Explorer) everything is OK. Cheers

I'm using the much attacked (on this forum) Firefox 3, and so far both the problems I've met have been sorted by reading the 'known faults' and following the workaround suggested. In each case the workaround forces a complete refresh of elements of the software around the browser core (add ons, add ins, modules, tools, themes, wizards, gnomes, codelinks, call them what you will) around the browser so the correct links are made. I had to sacrifice my favourite appearance theme, but something better will be along soon! Meanwhile performance seems better, and the new securities will help me feel safer as I use the browser to reallocate my millions (but enough of managing debt)! Before rolling back I'd suggest looking at the release notes. Your problem may already have been solved. Hope this helps and doesn't duplicate what you've already done. Re: A Linear Newest First Mode problem
Hi Jerry
The problem solved, thanks. My Opera 9.2 settings had to be changed and now everything is ok. Cheers
