Yes, and user profiles. I thought guests didn’t have access to these areas.

I was one of them. I was looking to see if I had joined previously, using a user name which I had forgotten about. I must admit to being surprised that I was allowed to do so.

So, do moderators have a solution to the concern Bob has raised?

Bob asked the question. I checked and personally confirmed his observation. No moderator bothered to reply to his question. Maybe an explanation now would be helpful. Bob and I probably don’t have the necessary understanding. If we don’t, for sure there will be many more who don’t.

Bottom line, why are none members (visitors) able to access the members list? That should not happen and breaches Data Protection legislation. It needs sorting.

May be I should have said, ( at this moment in time ) there are many ------- in fact it was almost a complete page of non members looking at the members list, should this be allowed as Greg has said and can visitors gain access to members private details ?. Bob

Hi Bob, all,

I've turned off "view member info" for group "Unregistered/Not logged in".

Please advise if it now stops you viewing members before logging in.

Please advise of any adverse/other problems.

Thanks
