If I was doing an in-store purchase I would be perfectly fine with this retailer, but I wouldn't trust it for ordering online. The site is not SSL certified, which means your financial information can be compromised. When I check it with a website checker (I used this one: http://www.1and1.com/website-checker) it gives it only a 66% overall rating. No website that is less than 100% secure will get my money and my business. Sorry to say, but it's just not worth the risk anymore.

Perhaps if you know the chap, since some of you seem to know "John" directly by name, you may want to bring it to his attention, as a friendly courtesy, that he could get more business if he works a little on the website.

Otherwise, it seems like he has good product and good know-how.

I've dealt with John buying components just on the cusp of his selling that side of his business to HiFi Collective. That said he sorted out my order by return so I can't envisage there being any issues in the future.
