Default Help Finishing Cabinets

Has anyone ever had speakers sprayed proffesionaly, and if so roughly how much dose it cost and what sort of firms have they aproached.
My current build of speakers are causing me some real hassle in the finishing department, due to the size and wanting a piano black finish, my preffered chioce of finish (Rustins Plastic Coating in black) is no longer available and have currently messed about with a variety of water based finishes and I am not having much luck (dires to quick). Spraying at home is not an option, so I would appreciate any ideas etc on what to do. They stand roughly 1.6m tall x 0.5m deep x 0.27m wide.
I am starting to get stress of the beloved one, due to :-
Living room full of speakers.
Collection of various water based finishes, all black, and some not cheap, decorating the top of the fridge.

I would approach a local car paintshop and get a quote,

it should be possible to get a very nice finish using a high build primer and base coat and clear top coats,

Cheers David, I was thinking of that I just wondered if anyone had a rough idea of costs. Though I would imagine like anything to do with a car it would be horrendous.
Forgot to mention, there sort of horns so the horn mouth would need doing, my experience of spraying is limited (very) so I suppose the horn internals would be quite hard.

to be honest I don't think anywhere will be cheap,
you would save a lot by putting the primer coats on and doing all the flatting back yourself, then the only charge would be for the top coats,

Smile Re: Help Finishing Cabinets

I've been doing that, see attached pic.
Just got a quick quote on the phone, looks like I,m going to be doing it myself, just cant seem to get a decent finish with water based products, always get brush strokes, possibly need to try different application methods.
Tried 2 garages, whatever happens its going to cost a lot more than £100, which is a bit much at the moment. Oh why oh why cant she appreciate the beauty of bare MDF
