Hello Colin,

Thanks for the links. I've read stuff on other forums about your current situation and really hope you come through with your new kit venture working for you.

I owe you a big thank you because back in the day, my introduction to seriously good sound came with a purchase of an Inca Tech Clamore which I seriously loved and enjoyed. In time, as you would expect, I moved on but, it gave me the taste for sound quality I have thereafter sort.

Very sorry about your TQ company experience, but to be honest, not surprised. Furthermore, here in a valve based forum and then elsewhere at an even more valve based forum http://www.audio-talk.co.uk/ we tried the TQ Blacks supplied by MCRU at a fest and instantly the consensus was to return to bog standard speaker cable, even CAT5 alternatives.

I really hope you make the progress you need to both with your products and also of course, in your current life/work balance situation.

Greg

Thanks Greg, well at least you like one of my odd designs he he

I have just completed a design concept for a valve/tube Bass amp for Guitar, I will post circuit up and maybe Answer will allow me to put it up on there site as a kit version. It was yet another venture in to wasted time for so called promises in a salary. Well no money no design screw them.

Hi Colin

like Greg I was introduced to serious amplification by your Claymore. You may even remember that I brought it on holiday with me c.25 years ago and came to your house (bungalow) near Yeovil for you to work your magic on it (on the oscilloscope, realigning transformer, etc). This was a most nerdy thing for me to do since I had no car at the time and brought the amp in my rucksack (the then-relationship I was in did not last much longer!).

Best

Adrian
