Default 300B Valve

One of my quad of gold grid electro harmonix 300Bs is failing. Does anyone know a good supplier for these?

Hi Paul,

Hotrox in Nottingham are very good, get mine from there now but crikey they're twice the price they were 5 years ago. Gosh what an effect this inflation has on a guy's essential needs . Or it's back to chancing your arm on eBay.

Just a thought, how do you know it's failing? How old is your set, are the others ok? We (Gerry B and me) have quite a few of these between us and I can test them and yours and may be able to match one in for you.

Drop me a PM if I can help.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the link, as you say twice the price of the last set which are about six years old. Hard to say how many hours but probably 4,000 plus.

The valve is flashing blue arcs to the envelope and glowing red on part of the centre.

Many thanks for the offer of help I'll PM you if I decide not to buy a new set.
