Considering the names of some of these new members, I suspect they have no interest in WD or hifi at all and are probably much more inclined towards alternative sexual communication. They are more likely to be similar to spammers who are simply using this forum to piggy back their communications through private messages. I would suggest Matthew and his moderators do some exploration on this and delete those who are abusing the forum system.

Interesting bike... despite the name, I'm more into cars than bikes. The 1950's Mercedes engines had desmodromic valve actuation too you know

Desmos are OK, but you can't beat a big throbbing V-8.

Yeah, I've been down the 4 litre quad cam V8 route...

These days, I'm mostly running a pushrod 3.4 litre V6, but in a fiberglass bodied car, so the power/weight ratio is OK

Tell us more please ?

I saw an AC Aceca prototype at Auction recently and I think that had a Ford quad cam V-8. Only wish I could have bid on it.

I once had a TVR Griffiths (the original one with the 289 Ford V-8) but sold it before the restoration was complete. My other V-8's were a Sunbeam Tiger (260 Ford V-8) , various Rovers , a TR-8 with the Rover (ex Buick) 3.5 V-8 and a Chevrolet 6.5L V-8 diesel ambulance.
