Record cleaning things.

Gd evening.
I have asked this question over on another forum, but thought I would also ask here at my home site.
Record cleaning anti static brushes; does anyone have any suggestions, recommendations on make, model where to buy one etc.

Well, there is the evergreen Shure brush, quite cheap and readily available on Ebay. I use one and it does a quite respectable job. You might need something better though for bad 2nd hand purchases with finger marks and heavier grime, then I imagine it's a job for liquid cleaners but I don't have any experience with those.

Hi KC, I use a Hunt, EDA mark 6 brush, keeps my records in good fettle, I have a spare that was used by my late mother, if you would like to collect and try it, it's yours, I think you should have my contact details. BOB

Ha yes I have the Hunt, EDA mark 6 brush as well It must be all of 25 year old know and still works well

The Milty brush looks much the same Colin, We had a Hi-Fi shop in the town in the mid seventys, here in Kettering, that had a Keith Monks cleaner for hire, very good, suprising just how much **** there was a some of my records, the price of them now is a bit rich for most I feel. BOB

I use an Okki Nokki. Works very well and relatively good value at £400 if you have a large record collection. An option is to share the cost of the machine with a friend

I bought one of those about five years ago in a local hi-fi shop. They were doing a clearance sale, never set a foot in that place before but the flyers tempted me to have a look... Even got a 50% discount and the brush works fine.
