Hi,
beware this company.

I was looking online for a reel of Techflex and came upon this site.

Their quoted price was very good Techflex 1/4", 100ft $26.44. However no shipping quotes online only 'you will be advised by invoice'.

OK - I have never had a bad deal from the States, whether from an individual or company.

I did ask for a total quote (to include shipping) and saved this to the sent folder (it made good sense).

They use UPS and I knew the shipping weight would not be much, so I was´nt perturbed that I di´nt know how much this would be.

After 11 days the package and the invoice (sent seperately) both turn up.

hen I looked at the invoice I nearly hit the roof! Techflex $26.44 shipping - $76.25 - the whole package only weighed 1lb 4oz.

I have already been informd by an American friend that their (HAVE) actions are illegal and I´m certain tha I shall get the excess (gross excess) back but it will mean a lot of aggravation.

So - this company quotes excellant prices but Caveat Emptor.
