Default wad 6550 power amp

Hi All I know my amp is rated at about forty watts something i have often thought about is how much current can it pass ie amps.Regards Steve

I think the fuse was about 1.6 amps?

I think Steve's question is, how much current can the output transformers give, if I am correct, this will depend on speakers and the ability of the transformers secondary winding. Bob

Hi, 40W into 8R would be 2.23Amps
