iphone problems
Yesterday my Daughter phoned me to ask if I had an extremely small philips screwdriver, after which she explained that she had accidentally dropped her iphone in a mug of coffee, the screen had gone white and of course it was not working. I have just spent 3hrs stripping the phone down, taking everything out whilst looking through a magnifying glass, scrubbing the main circuit board, which is full of very small integrated circuits with isopropanol and reassembling, you think building a valve amp is tricky, anyway much to my surprise it is now working, except that the two moisture detectors inside the phone are now red instead of white. So if any of you drop your iphone in a mug of coffee just give me a call and I will give you a few tips.
