Default Polypropylene caps in power supplies

Hello I was wondering if any members have tried replacing the reservoir electrolytic caps with polypropylene types.
My KEL84 and phono2 have undergone many upgrades, thanks largely to the forum members combined knowledge. Unable to find any threads on the subject, I looked into the practicalities.
The KEL84 was selected, suitable space found between the mains tx and the rt output tx. After shortening a bolt, gluing the cap in place and desoldering c1 I finally soldered hook up wires to the earth post and pin 1.
On the phono2 the mains tx and choke are moved, holes drilled, cap located and fixed .Desolder c1, hook up wires from cap leads to pin 1 and earth post.
The caps selected can be 68/100uf 400/450V, check size and space available.
The verdict, after 2 weeks, is very positive. Rather like going from an ordinary electrolyte cap to an audio grade high ripple low ESR type.

Nice to read of positive upgrades, thanks. I plan to try this on my amp (Glasshouse 300b) sometime, I even bought the cap along with a small truck load of other bits( including more poly's, but I still haven't got around to fitting any of them yet... one day, I promise=)
