I can definitely say this was a cracking day out - Steve was that you with the TD124 and home-brew amps etc?

If it was the rig sounded fantastic - what hit me was its feeling of unrestrained dynamics. Loved the LedZep when we first arrived. 'Shall I turn it up?' Steve says? 'Oh yeah' says us.

I will take my kit next time - had a last-minute gig come in for the saturday night which meant I didn't get home to until 1.30am on the sunday. The thought of travelling up from London at 5am wasn't something I felt too enthralled at doing.

Still, as a visitor I'd say it was a superb show - let's hope this catches on and it happens again soon.

Steve - meant to ask you on the day, what cartridge were you using?

As to next year, I've a sneaking suspicion that my rig will look a wee bit different to how it does now.

open baffles... ?

the cart...

it was a 60's shure m3d mm, that had a new unplayed stylus fitted the night before.. there was a touch of sibulance, but most did not notice that

its sound does not sort of match what it is ?

i'm very pleased with the deck combo as it is..
i have an original stylus being retipped by expert, so i'm hoping for more improvements.. wishfull thinking... may be..
