WAD 2A3 Motor driven pot

Allo,
Has anyone fitted a motor driven pot into their WAD 2A3.
I've just measured the clearance and it is about 53mm.
The information on the Alps Blue is that it is 69mm deep.
Will I have to move the tag board?
Are there any other shorter pots?

Any suggestions.

Panasonic do a motor pot that is less than 50mm long. Its better sounding than the ALPS too
