Dont be tempted to use this outfit as they are a con site, ripped me off for 90 quid for a cartridge and by the looks he's ripped off several other people too.
No goods no money back and now he wont even answer the phone. A lying cheating scumbag

Davy, that's bad news Did you pay with a credit card, if so give the card company a ring and tell them you want to put the item into dispute, they'll chase the supplier and he won't want to upset them for fear of his future credit card sales. Rich

Davy, Good advice from Rich. Some time ago whilst purchasing an item on the net, I accidentally double-clicked the "order" box, thereby duplicating my order! As the supplier was located in the US of A, I phoned the credit card company. "No problem" they said, "we hold all payments for three weeks (I think they said three weeks!) before clearing them". "We'll just cancel one payment".
If you did pay by credit card, there's certainly a good chance they can withhold payment. |

I use a credit card for all purchases rather than cash cheque or debit cards. The reason is that the credit card company is jointly liable for the goods or services. This means you can claim from them if it all goes tits up. Restrictions are legally £100 - £30,000, UK only, iirc but I used this useful feature only last month for an incorrect debit of £37 from a supplier and even for just £10.99 against Setanta a few months back. Phone the card company. Some will take details over the phone and simply phone the supplier for you. Others send out a paper dispute form. If you do speak with the supplier explain politely that you will raise a dispute with your card company if they do not honour their agreement or send you a refund. When you consider the impact loss of card facilities would have on a web based supplier you realise how much clout they have. Ditto funding your PayPal btw, if you allow them to fund it directly from your bank account you're on your own. Again, use a credit card not a debit card for this protection.

Hi all,
thanks for the replys, unfortunately i stupidly used my debit card so i suppose i have to take some part of the blame for taking that risk with a company i hav'nt dealt with before. I wont be so easily conned again though Cheers

You weren't stupid and in no way to blame, you were trusting and this sickens me. Here's the link for distance selling law, http://www.berr.gov.uk/whatwedo/cons...page38102.html The main provisions of the Regulations are that: • Consumers must be given clear information about the goods or services before buying; • Goods must be delivered within thirty days unless agreed otherwise; • Consumers have a cooling off period in which they can withdraw from the contract for any reason. The cooling off period begins as soon as the order has been made. In the case of goods, it ends seven working days after the day of receipt of the goods. In the case of services, it ends seven working days after the day the order were made. If the consumer agrees to the service beginning within the seven days, the right to cancel ends when the service starts; and • Where consumers notify the supplier in writing or another durable medium that they wish to cancel the contract, they must be refunded within 30 days all money paid. The Regulations do not apply to: • business-to-business contracts • financial services sold at distance. These are covered by the Financial Services (Distance Marketing) Regulations. • contracts for the sale of land – although the regulations DO apply to consumer rental agreements • products bought from vending machines • goods or services bought at an auction with an auctioneer Take it to your bank and tell them you wish to withdraw from the contract with a seller who has taken payment via your debit card and that you wish them to do a charge back on the payment. Explain that the seller does not have stock of the item and you have asked him for a refund but he has refused to give it. It is irrelevant that the goods have not yet arrived. It is clear that you have a right to cancel before any goods are delivered and for any reason. I can't see how the bank can refuse to do the charge back if the seller has refused your request and, besides, the bank will lose nothing as the contract is between you and the seller. Rich |

i talked to my bank about this two days ago but they were less than helpful. Im sorry to say that i resorted to threatening the bloke with a visit from some very nasty debt collectors who i assured him i knew personally and who just happened to know where Luton is Strangely however that call but none of the ten or so others i made to them yielded success, a refund! would you credit it. Shame about all the lies and nonsence over the last week though. I know for a fact im not the only one they've treated like this and with much larger sums involved, but it does'nt make me feel any better. Anyway i've posted a warning so hopefully no one else (here at least) will have the hassle i've had with this shady outfit, i feel quite worn out now. Cheers
