Simple Minds - Live In The City Of Light.
Simply Red's - Picture Book.
Goldfrapp - Supernature.
Elvis Costello - King of America.
Morcheeba - Big Calm.
The James Bond soundtracks.
Big Country - Peace In Our Time.
Anything by the Eurythmics.

Might not be quite your taste but they all sound stunning to me.

and pick an lp ive never herd off. got some good
stuff some a/1 condition never been played !!

My free tip is if you're not sure about a new artist you can often see then on youtube either live or as music to a video, easiest way to sample an unknown artist I know

Beatles - "Let It Be....Naked", plus pretty well everything recommended so far. Oh, and "Crime Of The Century" by Supertramp, reissued by Speakers Corner (best cut and press you'll get of this album).

I do have a fairly eclectic taste in music but for example I don't have any Led Zep, should I have and which one?, also no Hendrix, and again which one to get?, Ry Cooder is a good suggestion I've liked what I've heard,

I quite like late 60s folk, any ideas in that direction?
