Re: Arena Electronics
Thanks for the recommendation!
We will be adding a range of components under the Soniqs brand name as soon as we have them available. The idea is to provide top quality components that we know perform well in a variety of designs. The list will grow gradually as we don't want to post a catalogue of items that aren't available from stock. This is in addition to the SEAS drive units which can be ordered from our sister site www.SEAS.co.uk |

Re: Arena Electronics
Big Thumbs up here too. (though ANC took a bit long to deliver - 7 days from the date on the shipping label. Hardly Arena's fault, but if Arena don't know then they can't give the carrier a hard time.)
The HD83 kit was complete, and all parts correct as well, individually bagged and labelled. I received the kit just over one week after placing the order. And had it completed and working in under two What a contrast with my previous experience with ordering WAD kits. (long lead times, missing parts. umpteen trips to Maplin to source missing components/fixings). The fact that so much care and attention was lavished on the QC for a PCB based kit which is quite a straightforward build is very encouraging, especially for those who are nervous about tackling something a bit more challenging, both in terms of complexity and wallet. Truth be told, after my own minor niggles with the getting the PreII from the Old WAD, I was a bit wary of ordering a hard wired based kit from them in case I couldn't get it completed/did some expensive damage due to missing/wrongly identifed parts. Now that I've had such a positive experience with Arena/WD, I feel a lot more confident about building valve kits and I'm now trying to pace myself a bit or I'll get carried away building the whole amplifier section of the catalogue. |

Re: Arena Electronics
Likewise, the old WAD Pre II I ordered, which they have now managed to put together, came within a few days. Pleased with the service.
