Rich, if you follow the link Will supplied, and scroll right down, it appears that Fostex sell a Transformer control for $170.90, although I think this is for installation in a speaker, rather than a pre-amp.

Yes they attenuate and match drivers, I have a pair on some horn tweeters but I will need some more they are very good.
Thought I would give them a mention while TVC's were on the menu.. |

Yes too, with options from stepped attenuator to TVC, a choice of input selector an even motorized....
