Default new cartridge sought

I am on the lookout for a new cart., now around £150 any recs., on the list are denon 103, 304, at oc9, I won't have dynavector as they fall apart, any others I should consider?

You can get a 103R from eifl.co.jp for about 160 inc postage . I'd go with that . Put about 6g of lead on the headshell ( & rebalance ! ) and load it around 200R ( or 20K though a 10x step up ) . When it wears out, get it re-worked by expert stylus co. with a sapphire cantilever & modern diamond .
Oh, did I mention that this is what I was intending to do ..

103 is great...in my opinion.
Haven't you got an Ortofon MC15?

its a rega 250, just fancy a change, sold the mc15

If on the other hand you'd prefer not to raid your local church roof for lead , howzabout a Goldring 1042? Just under a £100.00 if you trade your old cartridge in.

Here are the links. I have a 103 and RB250....but not tried them together yet. Awaiting a Technics SP10 I've bought to try with the Rega...with the 103.
