I bought some modern production cryo 5881 Tung Sols.They were ****.Then again,looking at the construction of the modern ones maybe they were **** before they were cryo'd.Some defensive posts here,but no need I think,all that's needed is some peer-reviewed results.Most here have very open minds.

Sorry, Andrew, I feel I have to post to correct the incorrect impression you are giving there.

I aproched a valve treatment company, and they made a generous offer to treat some valves for me, at a lower than their normal price. The reason I haven't (yet) taken it further is I don't feel like shelling out the best part of £200 on the valves and treatment at this point. The company were more than willing to take part in the experiment, so the fact nothing happened is in no way to be taken as indicating ANYTHING about the effect or not of the treatment.

And I don't think it died because of that idea, I posted about this on another forum, so I don't think you can blame the thread dying here on that.
