WD in Stereophile Magazine again - ? new amp?

Paul Messenger writes in the January edition of Stereophile magazine (I get the electronic version, $5-7 per year subscription, different slant on Hi Fi, but makes me glad we have HFW in the UK) that Peter is planning a rebuild of the Radford STA 25 III design, having found transformers that are up to spec.

Will this be a WD kit?

Will this be the amp to go with the Pre 3 (with it's XLR outputs)?

Should I postpone the purchase of a WD88 kit (solder fingers itching) in anticipation?

Greg is the man to answer this,but no,I don't think the amp will be offered as a kit.Peter is reviving the Radford stuff under another name I can't remember at the moment.There will be at least one speaker also,probably more than one.I think it will all be fairly pricey,though good quality components will be used AFAIK.

Peter owns the Radford mark.

Radford products are being launched at the Bristol Hi-Fi Show in February.

They are not kits but finished seriously high end equipment.

Guess I'll be putting in that order for the WD 88 then after all (presuming seriously high end means more than £2k for an amplifier).
May be worth a trip to Bristol in 2009.
