Out of interest, given the good results Dave and others have had with wood, whats you reason for wanting stainless Ian?

looks nice, I did feel that horrid black of the old wad kits was rather workmanlike and dour, and didn't really do any favours.

Well i want monoblocks now ive had a little bit of kit building experience but when i first started out i definately wanted a stereo chassis because it was cheaper.

Well your all wrong. If you spend the extra money you spend on monoblocking on your integrated power supply you will net a better sound.

I thought about monoblocs but then the post about PSU's had me thinking.
One chassis would save money and space. Any reason why you cant have two separate HT supplies on one chassis? Dual mono = monobloc x2?

I would prefere momoblocks but the problem I have with them is that I have a Townshend Seismic Sink stand and the offset weight of the monoblocks tend to make it uneven. I suppose I could build "mirror" monoblocks!
