CCS Mod for a KEL84, anyone got details?

Thanks Philip, I guess I'd be more inclined to give it a go if I knew the answer to the following:

My amp has a shunted blue alps volume pot and I'm running it in Triode mode. Both of these mean reduced output. Does this mean I'm more likely or less likely to be running out of class A and into class AB operation? I can't quite work it out...
