Default WAD Phono II

Can anyone help please

I have been given a phono 2 set up for MM. On the PCB it says wad phono II issue1 and 0409 PCN if that’s any help to anyone.
Can’t seem to find the HFW articles on it so does anyone know when they were published, or if any one has a build manual/circuit diagram in pdf they could email me I’d be very grateful. If you pm me I’ll send you my email.........thanks

I’ve also “miss placed” my gold CD from years ago which I’m sure would have the info on ;(. I’ll keep looking.

The phono seems to have been modded a bit with resist/caps linked around C20/21 and C14,15,18,19 all missing although it looks as tho C14/15 were there at one time

I can’t attach pix of the board and the cap/resisters atm my iPad will not allow me resize them to upload

This is the very first issue, the capacitors that you mention are not used, but they can be if you require more gain, I did it on my first issue but the gain and brightness was far too much, the circuit is almost identical to the whole phono II III and IIIS range. Bob

Thanks Bob.
You wouldn’t have info on publication dates would you?

I would contact either Matthew Snell, Greg or Richard. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Bob
