Hi Greg,
No problems, the quick option:
Open the image with Microsoft Paint*,
click on 'Image' in the menu bar,
click on 'Stretch/Skew...',
set the top two options to 50%,
save the image.
(If it is a picture save as JPG, if it is a Schematic save as GIF).

Give the modified file a new name (e.g. add 'small' to the title) so that you don't overwrite your original should anyone request that you e-mail them the 'full version'.

* Other better and bigger image editors exist, but I'm not going to go through their options!

TTFN.

Thanks Lord. for your 'teach in'

As a courtesy to other forum members who may not have broadband or high resolution screens I would ask that anyone linking to an image please keep it to the 800 x 600 pixel limit suggested.

As Microsoft Paint isn't always available to all users here are the instructions for Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop

Paint Shop Pro - open the image then click Image and Resize.

Photoshop - open the image then choose Image and Image Size. Enter the required pixel size in Width and Height making sure Constrain Proportions and Resample Image are ticked.

In both cases rename the file using Save As before saving as Lord. suggests.

Another handy tip on filesize is that you can use JPG compression up to 55% before image quality deteriorates significantly. This can help when e-mailing images or uploading to a server.

In Paint Shop Pro click Options in the Save As dialog box for a .jpg file.

In Photoshop set Image Quality to '3' in the JPG Options box after entering the new filename and clicking Save.

Sorry, everyone, for the sporadic problems on accessing the BB yesterday. This was due to server access interruptions and was a problem outside our control.

All seems to be back to normal this morning, thank goodness.
