Thorens TD280 MkIV

Hi,

I have one of these turntables and the arm lowering support refuses to stay down. I have traced it to a solenoid not pulling in any more.

My assumption is that the solenoid drive circuit isn't driving. I need a maintenance manual. I already have the User's Guide.

Can any one help with sourcing the maintenance manual. Google searching only gets me to a User's Guide.

Alternatively, maybe it is telling me it is time to upgrade my turntable

Dare I ask for any suggestions?

A chap in Rhos on Sea has a very small hifi shop called: Electro trader HIFI. 01492 548932 He once tried to sell me the deck you mention. He had a lot of new-old hifi.
