Re: Novel sales pitch.
Yes, when buying kit with potted transformers it's best to know the person who potted them was trustworthy or they might just put in some filament transformers turned around as output transformers. I wouldn't put it past a seller like this.
Now if the potted transformers had a respectable accountable supplier's name printed on them I would be less worried, but from a seller like this I'd prefer to check with that supplier.

Re: Novel sales pitch.
Strange isn't it, they were one of the first in UK with Chinese valve amps. They got decent enough reviews and seemed to be ticking along OK. Then others imported similar or more cheaply made amps and presumably his business was hit.
Unfortunately his marketing knowledge is clearly limited as he'd already stupidly labelled his product the equivalent of "cheap valve amp". Who wants even a good amp with that name? He had nowhere to go and his new response seems totally over the top and has a negative impact on any sane person. Maybe he catches just enough daft buyers to make that approach worthwhile? Rich |

Re: Novel sales pitch.
And have you seen his diatribe on speakers (just click on the other items for sale links at the end of the item)?
I just hope, with verbal diarrhoea like that, he doesn't join this forum! |

Do you think he takes ketamine before he lists his items?

Re: Novel sales pitch.
Do you think he might be the type to sue people for libel, after 'opinions' are posted on a competitor's website?
