Unhappy RA Silencer

Hi,

Has anyone actually ripped on of these apart? I spent £40 on this thing that weighs about as much as my pen!
I can only assume it simply has a couple of caps across L-E and N-E, along with another from N-L and then a VDR across that cap?

Is that it......? Is the RA Silencer the biggest rip-off in hi-fi history as I can't hear any improvement: my TV looks the same, and when plugged into a socket in my kitchen, my coffee tastes just as good every morning - no improvement!!!

Neil.

I have a chum who bought one of these things, strictly on the 'money back if not satisfied' ticket. He wasn't, so sent it back.

He got his money back and now no longer receives RA literature every month.

So, one might argue, no great loss.

This has been taken apart and pics posted on one of the forums. I remeber it being replicated in a simple domestic plug. I made a few and they did bugger all!

Hi,

on the same subject (near enough) there was a thread which got lost in the recent crash - I can't remember who posted it, but he was going to buy one of those "Quantum Resonance Technology" thingies from RA.

Sorry I can't remember who you were, but did you get it and, if so, what do you think of it?

Nigel.
