Well, here's a few photos of my mono amp, inc. phono stage.
All that remains to be done internally, is to fit a TKD volume pot and a couple of Teflon caps where the Hovlands presently reside. Externally, a front panel (Schaeffer Front Panel Designer) and wooden lid need to be made and fitted. The whole amp is wired with silver.
The amp is a 5842/6B4G designed by Border Patrol. The phono stage is a Diego Nardi, Sound Practices design, it caters for 78rpm and various l.p. e.q. curves. Valve complement: 6SL7/6J5.
When it's completely finished I'll shall bring it to the next 'Eggfest' for that complete, deeeep...mono experience.
