Leak Sandwich OB
Hi-today i have used a spare bit of kitchen worktop and an old Leak sandwich speaker to make an open baffle speaker.
This was an experiment to see if the drive units would work satisfactory in such an arrangement. There are no sides to the baffle (yet) and the crossover components are original (probably dried out caps). In spite of all this it sounds good enough to progress to making another one and trying this new fangled stereo. http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...SandwichOB.jpg Philip

Re: Leak Sandwich OB
You'll be into Quadraphonics & arguing the merits of SQ over QS matrix systems at this rate. (I liked SQ -preserved the L-R image better than QS, which was better front-rear)
