JVC TT-71/ Mayware Formula IV
Hi
here's my latest project, I've acquired a JVC TT-71 deck from US ebay and together with the Mayware arm I'm going to mount them on a plywood plinth, it should be quite interesting, over the past 3 years I've got used to my 401 so this is something new for me,

Re: JVC TT-71/ Mayware Formula IV
Nice purchase.
Any chance of a photo of the base, I ask because I intend to mount my QL Y55F turntable on a few layers of hardwood worktop and am keen to place the circuit board within the space envelope of the platter underneath and could do with some inspiration. My turntable looks very similar to the TT-71 from the top, a photo of my actual deck is attached. http://www.vinylengine.com/phpBB2/al...hp?pic_id=3395 My deck also came from the States which I purchased a few years ago, JVC decks seem easier to obtain from there that over here in the UK. the good thing about the TT-71 is it's all self contained and you can laminate up a solid plinth and have just a circular hole cut out which make life easy,
I'll put some photos up when I get round to the plinth, got to finish decorating the lounge before I'm allowed to play,
