Hebrook heylo meant to be 88db sensitivity.

Hifi World measured it at a real world 86.5db and an incredibly easy 10 ohm load.
Very good for such a tiny floorstanding speaker. They marry very well to the WD25's at the front of my AV set up.
Very easy load, the technical review suggested it would suit low (or no) feedback low power amp's 15-100 watts. I think 20-30 watts should do,
WD88 would be perfect.

These have a lovely midband and if anything are a bit sweeter than the older HB1's if not so accomplished or anything like as dynamic overall. Superb with massed vocals at modest volumes.
Polite and fleet footed, not for death-metal fans!

Many thanks for the excellent help- it was a Q put to me re my Heylos (reluctantly fs) so Im very grateful for the info.

How do you think a 10w valve amp would fare with them? Im not in the know re valve amps at all.

cheers RoryC.

A high quality 10 watt design would be ok for very small rooms, really not ideal.

Not for loud or even moderately high volumes without audible (though not necessarily offensive) distortion.
