Default single ended power supply

any suggestions for a 350 volt psu running at 60 ma.

What's the maximum accepted ripple voltage for an s.e output stage?

I am wondering if C-L-C should use massive caps, or the smallest you can get away with, or even small C, big C, or big C small C.

looking for the 'best' psu.

any ideas? thanks

All sorts of ideas:

The lower the ripple the better - you can get away with volts (sometimes) but inevitably reducing the ripple increases the clarity. Try 1 volt in PSU designer and see what that gives.

Your big C little C question depends on what you are trying to achieve - smaller C values are often associated with a bouncier sound, big C with depth and weight of sound, but the L-C-R interaction is complex and frequency dependent. It seems silly not to start with a free piece of software that will put you in the right ball park from which to experiment in the metal to get the best result for your power amp circuit (which obviously includes the OPT and the loudspeakers).
