Linn Axis+Akito with PhonoII.. which cartridge?
Hi all,
I've got a question for you all about your experience for the best cartridge coupling with the Phono II. I got a WAD KAT 6550 (heavily modded: BG, AN coupling caps, schottky rectifier ..) + WAD PRE (BG caps), PSU (BG caps) , Phono II.. powering a couple of ProAC 2.5 clone and driven by a Philips 963 SA. Now I need to upgrade my (dead...) very old turntable (a Michell Prisma with a SME 309 and a Sumiko Pearl). I'm buying a Lin Axis with Akito arm in very good condition.. and I would ask your experience for the best cartridge to be coupled with the arm and the Phono II. Which cartridge would you use? I would buy an MM type as I do not own the MC trasformers (up to now...) Thank you very much Luca Sfarzo Italy |

The Linn Adikt matches the arm with its three-point fitting - and it takes some beating too.
