9VAC Power Supply

Hello

I have recently bought an Anti - Mode 2.0 Dual core Audio Processor with Room Correction unit. It has arrived with a small wall wart power supply 9VAC 0.500 amp.

Does anyone know of any UK company that can supply a better quality power supply than this ? Or would this unit lend itself to using a high quality 9V Battery Power supply ?

Any help or links would be appreciated .

A battery supply wont work, that will be DC not AC.

...and as it is AC, it is nothing more than a transformer. The rectification and filtering to DC will be done inside the unit itself, so unless you are prepared to open it up and perform, "surgery", I wouldn't worry about it.
