Approx. weight of WD25Ts

Does anyone happen to know their approximate weight ? Are they likely to be over 30 kg. each even with Arcena cabs ? I don´t fancy buying some scales just to find out.

I don't know if this applies to you but if your place of work ever sends out parcels the packing/dispatch dept. will most likely have a set of calibrated scales.

No, it doesn´t apply but no hassle, I´d guess sure they come in at nigh on 30 kilos so I´ll try some Valhalla Technology squidgy blocks under them instead of spikes. Just to see the difference.

If it's different sound you are after Van. then I would recommend a solid steel base, about 30mm thick instead of the wood base, 50mm if you could afford to have it made. Just as a test you could try putting solid concrete blocks on the top to get some sort of idea, squidgy things under them will make the sound woolly. BOB
