Rainproof winter motorcycling pants
Hello islanders
I've been using the simple rain pants, none held the water out for more than one winter, some leaked after a few months. So, knowing that folks of the UK are experienced with both rain and motorcycling, I ask your recommendation for warm rainproof overpants that will stay dry inside for more than two winters. Dan |

Re: Rainproof winter motorcycling pants
Hi Dan, this product may not be made any more, but I have a one piece over suit made by and called Octopus, it is nylon, lined with latex and is 100% water proof, I have ridden over 200 miles in heavy rain many times and been dry and warm, added to that water proof over mitts and welly gogs, made riding in the rain a pleasure. Before that I had a belstaf, which quite frankly was as much use as the Popes testicles. BOB

Re: Rainproof winter motorcycling pants
Hello Bob, couldn't find the suit you mentioned on the web, perhaps discontinued. I once had a one piece suit, I remember it was a bit awkward to put on and off, especially when the cold made you wee in a hurry.
I'll keep looking Cheers Dan |
