Default Talk Talk Cyber attack

Any member using talk talks like me
Details here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34615226
I wonder if this warrants a breach of contract by Talk talk to their customers

The danger as I understand it, is that your bank details as well as address details will have been exposed.
I dare say the banks won't change your account numbers and rejig your standing orders and DD's if you ask, but for me that's the only way to insulate yourself from fraud.
I have had a couple of new credit card account numbers issued on the occasions I was subject to attempted fraud. If that can be done, then I see no reason why your bank can't reassign you a new account. Although merely having your account number wont help, they need to harvest a set of details to use in conjunction.

A.

Hi Colin et al,
Not a snowball in hell's chance. They will sit in their ivory towers thinking "how is this going to affect my bonus"
I do not think the there is a CEO in this country, or probably elsewhere come to think of it, that works on the principle "The Buck Stops Here!"

John

Hi John
Yep I agree my call booking will be passed down to someone in lower management at best

In fairness, there are four million people affected by this. Let's suppose that one in a thousand of those insists on talking to the CEO. That's four thousand calls. In my job as a call centre advisor with EE, I handle a maximum of 80 calls per 12 hour shift. Is it really the best use of his time to spend 50 days arguing the toss with individual customers? If every customer of mine who insisted on being put through to Olaf Swantee was actually put through, he'd be on the phone 24/7 for the next 50 years!

Ha Well
The call Deadline is well passed and No call from the CEO. Didn’t expect it anyway but a timed arranged Return Call is exactly that. So someone should have phoned me no contact what so ever not even the office Cat
