Unhappy WAD website

Hi all,

I have just tried to get onto the WAD website and Forum there, but no luck.
Clicking on http://www.worldaudiodesign.com/ just gives the "Page cannot be displayed" message.
Oh dear - has all that information gone? Very sad if it has.

Neil.

The database went some time ago, I suspect thats just the name server of the host stopping resolving the name.

I think people do have archive copies of the site.

The hosting ran out at the end of April so the site is now gone.

At WD we have details of all the products and the moderators of the WAD forum have a copy of the database.

What a shame that WAD has finally gone. Are there any plans to integrate all those thousands of posts into this Forum? Or would that be an impossible task?

Neil.

Personally, I think it would be very confusing for new folk to find the old info. As Paul has said before, it will all come up again. A lot of it already has.

I agree with Nick, a lot of issues have already been covered on this new site. What has undoubtedly improved beyond all measure is input by the new site owner - namely Peter. It is'nt just the volume of input but far more importantly the quality of professional input.

I still have niggles with this forum and it does'nt operate (for me) quite as smoothly as the old WAD forum but that aside, this input of professional knowledge is something else, especially and not surprisingly re. all things speakers.
